DVD-R Production System - MSH-6131

Summary

This new model of DVD-R in-line production system developed by Pioneer, in collaboration with TDK Corporation, has realized disc production for the fastest recording speed (16x) and the highest-level productivity (i.e. cycle time of 2 seconds).

This system produces DVD-R discs in-line from molding to final product before pre-writing. The system consists of two active side molding machines, a dummy side molding machine, cooling conveyers, dye coaters, a baking unit, a sputtering machine, an outer edge cleaner, a dummy disc loading unit and bonding unit. Inspection units for dye coated discs and final discs are also built in the system.
